Germany: Annual inflation up 0.8% in July, as expected

FXStreet (Łódź) - According to data released today by Destatis, German annual inflation rose 0.8% in July, following 1.0% growth registered the previous month. This result is in line with analysts' forecasts. On a monthly basis German CPI increased 0.3% in July, after climbing 0.3% in June, as expected.

Year-over-year German HICP rose 0.8%, down from 1.0%. On a monthly basis HICP grew 0.3%, following a 0.4% increase.
